They have a wonderful source of vitamins and minerals, and also aids in weight loss and reduces insulin resistance. It can be juiced, garnished on salads or meats, or can be eaten raw if you like a little acidity and bitterness.

They have a great source of heart-healthy fats, high in fiber and protein, a rich source of vitamin E, and is an excellent first fruit for babies. Put these little blue balls on top of yogurt with some oats for a delicious breakfast. Or just eat them as is and enjoy a wonderful snack.
